A Dinner fit for A President (and the press)

Poor Joel McHale. I wouldn’t say he bombed, because it’s hard for a non-political humor kinda guy to score big with an audience drenched in Washington insiders and 10 percent of Hollywood that knows somebody.

During the White House Correspondent’s Association Dinner last night, McHale was off to a strong start, but quickly fizzled. He apologized for nearly every joke and low-blow (quick a few) he made. That’s McHale’s persona though if you’ve ever seen an episode of The Soup; quick and witty chat with a side of “Oh, did I say that?”

Hey, McHale. No apologies needed for this group.
